PERFECTION. Stunning, spectacular main room and in every detail: bohemian chic interior design, thoughtful touches throughout — this was a romantic getaway for two and we will now share wonderful memories of our weekend getaway to Ventura. The historic vacation house is a remodeled reimagining worthy of a special trip - even if you only have a couple of nights. We didn’t use all three bedrooms, but the space was nice to have all to ourselves. Great big kitchen was fun to cook in and mix drinks. The neighborhood location is industrial, funky creative - like Silverlake in Los Angeles or Park Slope in Brooklyn. Smart, creative, safe and beachy. We are two 50 year old women and felt 100% safe and snug the entire time. We loved the few minutes it took to get to the beach and we went on a longer 20 min drive / excursion up to a goat farm in Ojai. We signed the guestbook, saying we had a magical time. We will definitely return!! What a splendid getaway location - exactly what you hope Airbnb will be.

This place is so stylish and fun to be in! There was a nice neighbor across the way that introduced himself and chatted about the history of the property which was neat. We used the space for our annual business retreat and it was a wonderful place to work and get creative. It is truly a charming historical property. Mark is really great at responding to your needs or questions. Thanks for the great stay!

This place is gorgeous! Very clean and everything was easy to find. Lots of good food and shopping close by. Super close to the beach, we got to ride the bikes over for the amazing sunset. We will be back again soon!

Chic and funky property!We had a blast at this renovated church! The open layout was perfect and furnishings were rustic and chic. Teens had a great time taking pics with so many cool backdrops. The house was very clean and welcoming. Close to Main Street shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful time at this fun house!My family and I had a wonderful time staying here. It had everything we needed to do some light cooking. The décor is fun and funky. We spent some time at the beach and had a nice time relaxing in the house. The beds were very comfortable. The house is walking distance to a major grocery store and to Main Street in downtown Ventura. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. My only suggestion is to bring your own beach towels. Overall, a wonderful time at the house!
